This extremely well established brand was suffering from a somewhat stodgy image derived from, well…the somewhat stodgy nature of their core business; preparing credit reports on potential customers for their corporate clients.

Armed with a new tag line (Don’t just be sure..be D&B sure!) and new proprietary software based credit analysis tools, D& B and their agency looked to us to shake the cobwebs off their well trusted but tad dusty brand image.

Their sonic logo incorporates sounds designed to communicate the merger of modern methodology and the high level of confidence business consumers place in them. Custom designed technology sounds took care of the former and for the latter? We wanted a sound that evoked a stamp of authority and found it by sampling the sound of an old school grocery pricing gun.
